FAQ

Smartphone and photography equipment on studio desk
Photography equipment for hobby photographer

What equipment do you use for your daily work as a photographer?

I work exclusively with Canon equipment (cameras and lenses). For interior lighting, I use Canon and Godox flashes along with triggers, as well as top-quality Manfrotto tripods. In post-production, I use Adobe software (Lightroom, Photoshop).

How long does an interior / real estate session take?

The photo session for an apartment typically takes between 1 to 2 hours, depending on the size of the property, assuming the property is well-prepared for the session.

Are all the photos provided subjected to graphic editing?

Yes, all the photos I deliver to clients undergo detailed editing, with attention to even the smallest detail.

What is the wait time for the interior/real estate photo package?

The waiting time from the session to delivery is 3 business days. I usually complete them faster so that clients can upload the photos to listing portals as soon as possible.

When do you settle payment with the client for the completed session?

Payment is made directly after the photo session is completed. I accept cash, Blik, transfer to a phone number, and traditional bank transfers.

How will I receive the finished photos?

The photos, after being professionally edited and formatted for listing portals, are shared via Dropbox.
The client receives a link to the photos in the cloud, from which they can download the images within a specified period.

How should I prepare an apartment / house / retail space for the photo session?

The interior should be thoroughly cleaned, and furniture and props should be properly arranged. Minor adjustments can be made during the session, but general tidiness is key for good photos.

Here are some tips for preparing the spaces:

1. Cleanliness and Order:

Ensure the interior is well cleaned. Pay attention to every detail—dust, stains, or clutter can negatively impact the photos. Finish cleaning early enough so that, for example, wet floor marks or shower cabin prints can dry.

2. Furniture and Props Arrangement:

Make sure furniture and props are placed properly. The space should be aesthetically pleasing and harmonious, which will enhance the visual quality of the photos. You can place something on the bed, like a blanket, tray with food, or other items.

3. Glass Surfaces:

Make sure windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces are clean and free of fingerprints. These small details are easily noticeable in the final photos.

4. Details:

Pay attention to details like curtains, pillows, or decorations. Sometimes, a small change can improve the overall visual effect of the photos. Avoid unnecessary items that might distract from the main subject, such as bowls, toothbrushes, bathroom scales, trash cans, remotes, personal photos, or keepsakes. These can be moved to another place during the session.

5. Space:

If the room feels too cramped, consider removing unnecessary items to avoid crowding the frame and ensure more space in the photos.

Why is it worth investing in an interior photographer?

Improperly taken photos can cause more harm than good. The goal of photos, especially in the context of advertising, such as presenting a hotel or property, is to attract attention and interest from potential clients. High-quality photos are crucial because they determine whether a business or individual renting a property will succeed. Poor photos can not only fail to deliver the expected results but can also effectively deter clients who may never return to the listing.

Whether you're an interior designer, architect, or private individual selling a home or apartment, it's worth hiring a professional who specializes in interior photography. Architectural photographers have the skills to capture every corner of a room, accurately reproduce colors, manage lighting effectively, and fine-tune camera settings to ensure the final result is not only aesthetically pleasing but also attractive to the audience. Thanks to their experience, interiors are presented in the best light, which can significantly increase interest in the offering.
